Known as “tree with good leaves,” or “leaf good for everything”, Ravintsara is known for its many emotional, mental, and physical benefits. While sometimes  confused with another member of the Lauraceae family, Ravensara, Ravintsara has a distinct, though milder aroma- similar to Eucalyptus. Growing 15-30 meters tall, this camphorous tree has small white or cream coloured flowers which grow their own black berry-like fruits. This evergreen tree also has broad shiny light and dark green leaves.
