Usage: Used in aromatherapy, mist sprays, and soaps. Antidepressant, anti-inflammatory, antiemetic, antimicrobial, antiseptic, antibacterial, deodorant, digestive, diuretic, stimulant (nervous system), stomachic, and tonic.


Blends well with: Bergamot, Cassia, Cedarwood, Myrrh, Opoponax, Orange, Rose, and Sandalwood.


Native to Asia, the Patchouli plant grows to about 3ft, with oblong leaves and white, light-purple, or lavender flowers. The plant requires full sun to bring out its fragrance. The oil improves with age, becoming sweeter and milder the longer it matures.
