Safety Notes: Do not use on skin- dermal irritant and mucous membrane irritant, avoid contact with eyes. Avoid during Pregnancy. Caution: Origanum is a heating oil. People with dry or sensitive skin may require an additional carrier oil when using it topically. Use in small amounts


Usage: Analgestic, anti-rheumatic, antispasmodic, anti-toxic, antiviral, bactericidal, carminative, choleretic, cytophylactic, diaphoretic, diuretic, emmenagogue, expectorant, febrifuge, fungicidal, parasiticide, rubefacient, stimulant and tonic


Blends well with: Herbal and woody essential oils such as Cypress, Marjoram, Rosemary, and the more camphorous floral oils such as Lavender


Botanically and commonly known as Origanum vulgare, Oregano is a flowering plant from the same family as mint. The Oregano spice has been used for centuries in traditional practices, including food preparation and medicinal practices. It is native to Europe and America and the plant grows about 1-2ft. It has dark green leaves and purple buds that blossom into white, pink and lilac-coloured flowers.
