Beef Tallow

Description

Tallow is a 100% natural and sustainable byproduct of beef rendering. Tallow is an excellent low-cost candle additive and moisturizer for skin care products.  

This tallow has been rendered commercially so it is bright white and has zero odor. 

Tallow can be stored for extended periods without the need for refrigeration to prevent decomposition, provided it is kept in an airtight container to prevent oxidation.

How to Use

Cosmetics: Tallow can be used in cold process soap recipes and other cosmetic applications. Use this in any proportions in your soap - and it can be mixed in with other oils.

Candles: Can be used to lower the melt point and to soften wax to enhance burn. (Often used with soy wax - although this does mean you can no longer call your candles vegan).
