General Info

Paraffin is a white or colourless soft but solid wax. It is made from saturated hydrocarbons. It is derived from Petroleum by seperating the wax from the oil.

  • Always melt wax in a double boiler
  • Do not put on direct heat


Details

Purpose: Container wax

This is a one-pour container blend. The wax is very sticky and comes in a 25lb bag (approximate).

Holds the most fragrance possible! Up to 2oz per pound of wax (12%) - although we think this is excessive. Try 6% first and add if you think necessary.

It is a very soft wax and does not require additives.


Format: in a 25lb bag - approximately 12"x12"x12" (2 bags per case)

Appearance : Off white

Melt Point: 125°F (51.7°C)

Pour Temp: 180°F (82.2°C)

# of Pours: up to 12%

Fragrance Load:

Directions

Heat Wax

Heat wax in double boiler until wax is approximately at the pour temperature.

Add Fragrance:

Add fragrance and colour at the 180°F mark. Stir gently for about 30-60 seconds.

Pour wax:

Pour at around 180°F

Let your candles cool as slowly as possible for best results.
