Safety Notes: This essential oil may contain phototoxic properties and it is suggested to avoid exposure to the sun after application to the skin. For external use only, dilute before use. Key Limes are generally seedier and smaller, which means a higher acidity and stronger scent. The limes used are both ripe and unripe. It is the reaction between the steam distillation and citric acid juice (created by the limes) which produces the essential oil.
