Ce savon est destiné à « suspendre » des objets. Idéal à utiliser pour les savons décoratifs. Gardez à l'esprit que ce produit nécessite des tests car certains objets sont trop lourds pour lui. Les utilisateurs devraient essayer d'ajouter leurs ingrédients à une température légèrement plus froide que la normale, car la base sera plus épaisse et plus susceptible de suspendre les additifs. L’ingrédient clé de la base Suspending M&P est la silice. La silice crée une matrice de suspension au sein de la formulation, mais cette propriété même peut également être susceptible de piéger davantage d'air et de créer un effet trouble. Par conséquent, lors de l’agitation des additifs, cela doit être fait très doucement et éviter toute agitation brusque car cela pourrait par inadvertance accueillir de l’air dans la formulation et provoquer un trouble indésirable de la base.

Attention : lors de la fabrication de savons, il est bon de se rappeler que les bases de savon Melt & Pour contiennent de l'eau dans la formule, donc si les barres finies sont exposées à l'atmosphère, l'eau s'évaporera lentement et la barre de savon rétrécira. Par conséquent, nous vous recommandons d’emballer complètement le pain de savon dès qu’il est refroidi et sec pour minimiser ou éliminer tout rétrécissement.

Description

Our Melt and Pour Suspending Soap Base is specially designed to 'suspend' additives such as jojoba beads or loofah. It can be used to create a decorative soap bar (e.g. such as by adding fine glitter) or a functional exfoliating bar. Creative possibilities are endless. Some trial and error is required with this product, as some additives may be too heavy for the suspending properties of the base to work properly. Users should try adding their ingredients at a slightly cooler temperature than normal, as the base will be thicker and more likely to suspend additives. The key ingredient in the Suspending M&P base is Silica. Silica creates a suspending matrix within the formulation, but that very property can also be apt to trap in more air and create a cloudy effect. Therefore, when stirring in additives, it should be done very gently and avoid any abrupt stirring as this can inadvertently welcome air into the formulation and cause unwanted cloudiness of the base.

This soap base is completely biodegradable. It does not contain any artificial colours and is not tested on animals.

Formulated with a neutral pH of approximately 7.8, this soap base helps maintain skin's natural moisture balance, leaving it feeling soft and hydrated.

How to Use

Melt the soap in the microwave in short blasts or in a double boiler. It is important to only heat until the working temperature. Taking the temperature too high can result in the soap scorching and therefore changing the consistency (it will become rubbery and solidify quickly).

When sufficiently melted add in your colour and fragrance.

Pour into molds and wait until solid. For best results and removal from mold wait several hours.

Wrap as soon as possible as the soap contains water it can evaporate and shrink the bar (shrink wrap or cling film will work). Also, in warmer climates the glycerine in the soap will attract moisture and can leave "sweat beads" on your soap.
