General Info

Paraffin is a white or colourless soft but solid wax. It is made from saturated hydrocarbons. It is derived from Petroleum by seperating the wax from the oil.

  • Always melt wax in a double boiler

This is a one pour container wax. Tends to be sticky to the touch.

Melt Point: 115°F-125°F

Pour Temp: 150°-170°F

Fragrance Load: 6-10%

Directions

Heat Wax

Heat wax in double boiler until wax is approximately at the pour temperature.

Add Fragrance:

Add fragrance and colour at the 180°F mark. Stir gently for about 30-60 seconds.

Pour wax:

Pour at around 180°F

Let your candles cool as slowly as possible for best results.

Makes safe candles for those who forget about candles

I wick this wax with certain wicks and it makes a safe candle even if you leave the house for the weekend which it accidentally happened to my friends. The flame stayed low and cool and only the wax consumed while the jar was not hot at all.
