Description

All you will need is 100% cotton sheet. This little pod contains all the ingredients that is needed for making Beeswax wraps.

One Pod will do 2 square feet, if you want a little tackier grip, use less material.

Beeswax wraps are a great way to keep plastics out of the garbage and are a cost effective way to store food.


NOTES:

Do not use Beeswax wraps on raw meat.

Beeswax, Pine Resin, Jojoba Oil

How to Use

Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°F

Step 2
Lay out a piece of parchment paper onto a cookie sheet. Cut your fabric to desired sizes and lay your fabric on top of the parchment paper.

Step 3
Melt the pods in a stainless steel bowl over a pot of simmering water.

Step 4
Brush the melted pod onto your cotton fabric trying to cover all parts evenly. Don't worry if the wax starts to congeal. You can remelt the pod if not spreading.

Step 5
To ensure the fabric absorbs the melted wax, place in warm oven (leave door open and keep your eyes on the fabric it will only take a moment for the fabric to absorb the wax mixture.

Step 6
Remove baking sheet and using your paint brush spread the melted wax. Repeat process if desired. You can also try using a blow dryer for this process.

Step 7
While still warm, peel your wrap from the parchment paper and hang to dry.

Finish
Your wrap is ready to use. Wash with a warm cloth before using.

Care
Wash after each use with warm water and hang to dry.
