Fragrances are available in the following sizes: 1lb, 8oz, 4oz and 1oz. We recommend between .5 and 1.2 oz of fragrance to 1 pound of wax. However, we always recommend that you follow the wax manufacturer's advice for fragrance loading and as always - test - test - test! Too much fragrance oil can clog the wick when burning (and cause the candle to have too small a flame or even drown). Also too much oil could produce a mottling effect on your wax. When making candle tarts, you can use more fragrance as there is no wick or flame involved.
