Hi All,
Well it has been quite a while since I have been on the boards!! I have been busy with breast cancer screening and have had to make a decision...either I give up my candles or my new job as I cannot do both so sadly I have to give up my beloved candles.

I have been making candles for several years and have had a great little business with wholesale and retail sales. What I have for sale is as follows:

Super awesome prim silicone molds for candles & tarts.
Many many flexible rubber molds.
Some tin shapes molds for pillars.
Tart molds.
5 like new presto pots.
Lots of wicking.
Rusty tin plates and a bunch more rusty stuff.
Packaging materials and bags.
Candle decorating supplies.
Lots & lots more items too numerous to type out here.

BUT...The most valuable item I have for sale is my candle making instructions and my secret recipe book. I make all types of candles and tarts including: Cinnamon Buns, Pies of all sizes, Cakes of all sizes,Dessert candles, Gel Drinks ie: wine glasses, beer, rootbeer, colas, and much more. Complete gel making recipies.Pillars, votives, tons of different tarts and almost anything you can think of!! This is my blood sweat and tears for the past seven years and it is all written for anyone from beginner to seasoned candle makers. It includes wax, wicking, color and FO combinations along with testing.

If any one is interested, I prefer to sell everything as a whole but we will see what happens. If anyone would like to see a few pictures of my candle please let me know and I will email them to you.

I lost my younger sister to breast cancer a few years ago and after she died I became so angry that a young woman with little kids could wake up one morning to find a breast lump and be told it had been there for at least 10 years and for women her age and younger there is no safety net for finding breast cancer. As mammogram is contraindicated for women under 50 in Canada, it leaves us at risk. So I went on a hunt for an answer and found THERMOGRAPHY which is a safe and wonderful way to screen all women but especially those of us who are not ready for mammogram. So I went back to school [I was a nurse] and got certified and now I am director of a new clinic at our hospital. This is why I have to sell my candles and devote myself to what I am doing now!!

So, anyone interested can contact me at:

heavenlyhomespun@yahoo,ca

I will be happy to answer any questions you may have!
Thanks, Ceecee

CeeCee,
I was with my girlfriend who was told at 29 there was no way that lump could be cancer. Again after the mammogram she was told it was just a cyst. But her mother had just recovered from breast cancer so Cindy went that extra step and demanded a biopsy which everyone told her was a waste of time and money. She was told that she had breast cancer. She has been a survivor for about 6 years now.

Take care and good luck in your new career.

Betty Jane, Thanks for the comments!!
You know what??? We are hearing this more often than you can imagine. It is up to US as women to become responsible for our own health and if demanding a test is what a person feels is necessary...well then lets demand it. You cannot be too careful with breast diseases and I am so glad your friend did not just go away and do nothing. She was right and there is nothing wrong with that!! Glad to hear she is a survivor!
