First, a little background: I am using EcoSoy CB Advanced wax, Fragrance Oil (testing 6%, 7% & 8%), Liquid Color Dye (testing 8 - 18 drops per pound), HTP-1312 wicks (HTP-1212 would not give a full diameter burn pool) and 8oz Mason Jar containers. I melt to approx 140F, mix color approx 2 min, add FO at approx 125F & mix using a wisk approx 2 min; I wrap containers in newspaper and keep room temp at about 24C - 25C (otherwise they crack!).
I am getting a lot of mottling all over and once cooled after the first burn there is visible sweating on top (usually around the wick). Do you think mixing FO longer would help? Any other suggestions?
