Description & Colour: A lot of the colour depends on the season in which the oil is distilled. In the rainy season, the oil will be pinkish.  Whereas in early winter the oil is reddish. The oil has a thin consistency


Aromatic Summary: Refreshing, sweet, and woody scent. A middle note with a strong aroma.

Storage:  Transfer out of any metal and shipping containers (used for safe shipping), keep in dark glass container 


Safety Notes: For external use only; dilute before use. May cause skin irritations, a skin test is recommended prior to use, avoid contact with eyes. Avoid During Pregnancy. Can also have a numbing effect on the skin as a topical pain relief. Caution: Not for internal use. Wintergreen in high quantities can be toxic and over-usage can irritate the skin


Usage: Anti-inflammatory, antirheumatic, astringent, carminative, counterirritant, diuretic, emmenagogue, expectorant, hemostatic, stimulant, tonic, and vulnerary. Commonly used in aromatherapy, lotions, creams, and oral hygiene products


Blends well with: Ylang-ylang, Peppermint, Marjoram, Lavender, Birch Sweet, and Vanilla


A small evergreen herb that grows up to 6 inches, with leathery serrated leaves, and drooping white flowers that develop into fleshy scarlet berries. The main constituent in Wintergreen is Methyl Salicylate, which is also commonly used in toothpaste, chewing gums, and soft drinks.
