As the name implies, Bitter Orange has bitter notes, similar to grapefruit. Native to Asia, the trees grow about 20-30ft. It has white flowers and glossy leaves that are much broader (in the shape of a heart), which is a noticeable difference to the edible orange leaves. Bitter orange is not edible when fresh.
